Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Rotating Days/Nights

Position: RN - Float Pool (Registered Nurse Resource Team) Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL Type: Full Time, 36 hours/week, rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays Responsibilities Float across inpatient units, providing high-quality, individualized patient care according to nursing standards.Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diverse patient populations.Supervise and guide nursing staff, promote safety, and maintain a safe work environment.Document thoroughly and timely, contribute to team development, and uphold ethical standards.Adapt to varying clinical situations and incorporate evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills At least one year of acute care inpatient RN experience.Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.Effective communication skills and ability to supervise staff.Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required based on unit needs.
