Registered Nurse - Float Pool
About the role
Regions Hospital is seeking an exceptional, patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. Float Pool RNs will work on various inpatient clinical units including orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, and postpartum.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients in orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, and postpartum units.
- Care for progressive patients in cardiac, medicine, burn, trauma, neurology, and surgical units.
- Contribute to the exceptional care provided in our Level I Trauma Center.
- Implement patient and family-centered care guided by evidence-based nursing practice.
- Manage clinical practice and working environment through the Shared Governance Model.
- Participate in the Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program for new hires.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing with 1 year of RN experience.
- Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
- CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
- One year of acute care RN experience.

Pay
This position is straight nights at 0.7 - 0.9 FTE (56-72 hours per pay period), with specific FTE discussed at the time of interview based on departmental needs.
Schedule
This position works straight nights at 0.7 - 0.9 FTE (56-72 hours per pay period), with weekend rotation every other or every third weekend, to be determined and discussed during the interview process to ensure alignment with unit needs and expectations.
Qualifications
All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled in the individualized orientation including the Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program.
