About the role
A float-pool Registered Nurse (RN) who delivers patient care across multiple units.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, administer, and evaluate patient care independently in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Assess patient needs, carry out physician orders, administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and communicate patient conditions using electronic documentation systems.
- Educate patients and families, and assist with transfer planning, ensuring culturally and age-appropriate care.
- Follow safety protocols and complete mandatory training and competency requirements.
Requirements
- Active RN license valid in New Hampshire or a compact state.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 1–3 years of related experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days.
