Registered Nurse - Float - Night Shift (Premium Pay)

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Float provides adaptable nursing coverage across multiple units and departments, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Seamlessly transition between nursing units to support various medical situations.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff to ensure effective communication and coordinated care.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, developing tailored care plans based on diagnoses and histories.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies, providing immediate care to stabilize patients.
• Assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, managing bed capacity to optimize patient flow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; 1 year of clinical specialty preferred.
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required for critical care areas.
