Registered Nurse - Float - L&D/Mother Baby

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool provides safe, age-appropriate patient care across various units, including Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability. The position involves working full-time shifts, including weekends and nights, within a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing support to diverse patient populations.
• Function as a resource and advisor for patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience, including telemetry, pediatrics, PICU, or NICU.
• Current RN license in Maryland or a Compact State.
• For pediatric roles: BLS, PALS, NRP, and certification in pediatric or neonatal critical care preferred.
• For critical care roles: BLS, ACLS, trauma, and stroke certifications within six months.
• Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and excellent communication.
