Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations under the direction of the Nurse Director/Manager.
• Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize patient goals, and evaluate care delivery.
• Continually revise the plan of care to meet biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of the patient/family.
• Delegate care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Current Kansas RN Licensure.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Specific certifications required based on unit:
  • Telemetry, ICU, and PCU: ACLS.
  • Post-Surg: Chemo certification.
• 2-Year Degree (required).
• Specific certifications must be completed within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 4-Year Degree.
• At least one year of recent experience in a similar healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
