Registered Nurse - Float ICU/ED - Days - $60/hr

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Float provides flexible nursing coverage across various units, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Seamlessly transition between nursing units to support different medical situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff to ensure effective communication and quality care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored care plans based on diagnoses and histories.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing immediate care to stabilize patients.
• Assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, managing bed capacity to optimize patient flow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse; clinical specialty experience preferred.
• Valid RN licensure in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• Certification in BLS (CPR); ACLS certification required for critical care areas.
