About the role
We are seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Chico, California. This position offers 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts, nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in an ICU setting
- Assess and document patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately
Requirements
- Current RN license in California
- Experience in ICU setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Passing scores on NCLEX-RN
