About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) Float position involves providing flexible nursing coverage across various units and departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Seamlessly transition between nursing units to support diverse medical needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Conduct detailed patient assessments and customize care plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations to stabilize patients
- Assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers to optimize patient flow
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required), Bachelor’s preferred
- At least 1 year of nursing experience (required), with clinical specialty experience preferred
Licensure and Certifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS certification, with ACLS required for critical care areas
