Registered Nurse/Every Other Weekend RN Supervisor 3p-11pm

About the role

Westminster Winter Park, an Active Living Community in Winter Park, has an open position for an RN Supervisor, part time from 3pm-11pm, weekends only.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all floor nurses and staff members, ensuring care is provided based on established standards.
• Provide conflict resolution for issues between staff members.
• Replace nurses who call off or are no-call/no-show.
• Aid the ADON/DON in calculating daily staffing needs based on census requirements.
• Review and ensure compliance with doctor's orders for both new and current residents.
• Oversee and assist nurses in conducting resident assessments.
• Coordinate care with resident's family members, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Manage family concerns regarding resident care.
• Inform the ADON/DON about important situations involving residents or the Health Center.
• Enter admission orders in ECS for new residents to the Health Center.
• Assist nurses in managing emergencies within the Health Center or independent living.
• Request supplies for the unit from the Central Supply.

Requirements

• Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.
• CPR certified.
• One year of long-term care experience desirable.
• Experience in med-surg, home health, emergency room, and working with developmentally disabled adults is helpful.

• Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
