Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Unit - Part Time

About the Role

The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit provides direct patient care across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics, in a surgical/endoscopy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and communicate with the surgical team
• Maintain endoscopy equipment and ensure aseptic techniques
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor equipment functionality and supplies
• Assist during procedures and ensure patient safety throughout
• Participate in performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree required, BSN preferred)
• At least two years of post-graduate experience in surgery or medical/surgical nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
