Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Unit - Part Time

About the role

Provide patient-centered care in the Endoscopy Unit, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and procedural needs of patients from infants to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with endoscopic procedures
• Maintain equipment and inventory
• Ensure a sterile environment
• Communicate continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists about patient status
• Monitor vital signs
• Support the surgical team
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Manage endoscopes and instruments
• Participate in performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred
• Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in Surgery or Medical/Surgical Nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical skills across diverse age groups
