About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by using technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordinating care with other health team members.
Responsibilities
- Audit and assess patient needs, including physical, social, and psychological status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinate patient care, delegate tasks as necessary, and ensure effective communication among team members.
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Promote professionalism and maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Valid compact license must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.
- BLS certification for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience or a BSN within four years of hire.
- Physical abilities to perform essential functions, including manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to lift and move patients and equipment.
