Registered Nurse - Endoscopy ( Per diem)

About the role

The Endoscopy Center is one of the largest and most advanced endoscopy units outside the Boston area. The outpatient process is designed to be easier and more fluid for patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for patients within the endoscopy setting
• Admits, recovers, and discharges patients
• Supports GI endoscopy procedures
• Requires good organizational skills due to the fast-paced nature of the department

Requirements

• RN License - NH state or any other compact state
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certified or within 6 months of hire
• CGRN certification within 24 months or upon meeting certification criteria

Qualifications

• Backgrounds from ED, ICU, OR, or procedural areas may be considered

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational skills

Pay

• Per diem rate applies at least 3 shifts per month (including summer months)
• Staff must take call at least 3 times per month (including 1 weekend call shift monthly)
