Registered Nurse Employee Health Clinic Exempt

About the role

This position conducts pre-employment and annual screenings for new hires and team members, maintains accurate and complete Employee Health records, administers medication and vaccines, and assists in workers' compensation case management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with mandatory meetings and professional development
• Maintains, monitors, and tracks bloodborne pathogen exposures and Tuberculin skin testing program
• Aids in organizing employee files, records, and occupational health statistics
• Employs professional judgment and recommends solutions for workers’ compensation issues
• Affords assistance in following up on workers’ compensation investigations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing [Preferred]
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment regulations and policies [Required]
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills [Required]
• Ability to prioritize work and multi-task [Required]
• Problem-solving skills and customer service orientation [Required]
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and advanced computer skills [Required]
• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical nursing [Required]

Skills

• Vaccine administration [Required]
• Workman’s compensation case management [Preferred]
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and OSHA regulations [Preferred]
