About the role

Join our Remarkable Team! This position is located in Mayfield, Ky and offers a full-time night schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Utilize specialized plan-of-care interventions and serve as a patient-care innovator.
• Shape exceptional patient journeys every day by leveraging skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
• Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency; utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
• Document patient care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Work with patients' families to help improve the patient's abilities and support them in dealing with a family member's illness.

Requirements

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
