Registered Nurse/Emergency Room- Part-time 6p-6a

About the role

At Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community. We are currently seeking dedicated, skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) to join our dynamic emergency department team. As an ER RN, you’ll play a critical role in delivering fast, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in their most urgent moments.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the emergency room and other critical care settings.
• Quickly assess conditions and stabilize patients in life‑threatening emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks, or severe injuries.
• Triage cases in order of urgency and need.
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians.
• Start intravenous lines, perform intubations, and place patient stitches and sutures as directed.
• Create and maintain incoming patient records.
• Work closely with the emergency staff team to help patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification) required.
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course certification) is required but can be completed within six months of hire.
• Active Colorado RN license required.
• Three years of previous work experience as an RN is required.
• Previous emergency room work experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional multitasking and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work closely with a team and patients.
• Willingness to continually learn the latest advancements in emergency medicine.
• Ability to place intravenous lines, set bones, and perform other emergency medical tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay

Pay Range: $33.54‑$50.29 per hour based on experience and qualifications (eligible for shift differentials).

• Weekday Nights (Mon‑Thu, 7:00 pm‑7:00 am): $3.00 per hour
• Weekend Days (Sat‑Sun, 7:00 am‑7:00 pm): $3.50 per hour
• Weekend Nights (Fri‑Sun, 7:00 pm‑7:00 am): $5.00 per hour
