Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the emergency room in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Hospital.
• In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family, and other members of the health care team, assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans.
• Work as a team member within the entire facility and perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide care to patients in the emergency room according to policy and procedure and care standards.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes, and anticipated complications.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary team.
• Act to protect and advance patient’s best interest.
• Satisfactorily demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties outlined in this job description as well as continually demonstrate competency in performing the job duties.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma required.
• Minimum of one year experience in Med-Surg, Emergency, or ICU preferred.
• BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire.
