RN Emergency Department PRN Nights

This PRN Registered Nurse position is located in the Emergency Department at our Medical Center in Baker City, Oregon, off the La Grande‑Baker Hwy, just below the Elkhorn Mountains.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely.
• Serve as a patient advocate by promoting patients' physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being.
• Educate patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Develop care plans based on patient needs.

Requirements

• Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network required at hire (unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk).
• ACLS/PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN acute care experience (high acuity, critical care patient population experience required).

Schedule

Part‑time, Night Shift.
