The Emergency Department RN Transition to Practice Program
12 weeks of training tailored to meet individual learning needs in our Level II Trauma Center at South Shore Health.
- Hands-on nursing experience in assessing patients, planning care, and providing care.
- Successful program participants will be placed in a full-time shift position in the Emergency Department.
- Program starts on September 21, 2026.
Compensation
Pay Range: $38.20 - $77.39
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred.
- Required Licenses/Certifications:
- RN - Registered Nurse.
- American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Other certifications may be required based on department needs.
- Full-time night shift: 7pm - 7:30am, 36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays.
