The Emergency Department RN Transition to Practice Program

12 weeks of training tailored to meet individual learning needs in our Level II Trauma Center at South Shore Health.

• Hands-on nursing experience in assessing patients, planning care, and providing care.
• Successful program participants will be placed in a full-time shift position in the Emergency Department.
• Program starts on September 21, 2026.

Compensation

Pay Range: $38.20 - $77.39

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred.
• Required Licenses/Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC (ENA), ERT (SSH).
