About the role
Provides proficient, direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with standards, policies, and organizational values.
Responsibilities
- Delivers high-quality, safe care across diverse patient populations
- Prioritizes clinical needs and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for patient transfer, discharge, and psychosocial support
- Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to optimize outcomes
- Effectively delegates tasks and educates patients and families
- Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN license
- At least six months of RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Additional credentials such as ACLS, ENPC, PALS, TNCC, or ATCN preferred or to be obtained within specified timeframes
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
