Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department at Elmhurst Main Hospital, following hospital policies and state regulations. Night shifts (7:00pm-7:00am) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and recognize changes in status
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff
• Collaborate as a team member in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s degree required within five years if hired with Associate Degree only)
• 1+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (must obtain within specified timeframes if not already certified)
