Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night

Role: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, working night shifts at a hospital setting. Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care following state laws and hospital policies; assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a healthcare team to achieve unit goals. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing preferred; minimum of 1+ years' ED experience required. Valid Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and within three months, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS stroke scale certification. Key Duties: Employ critical thinking, monitor patient status, recognize changes, and ensure quality care delivery. Support team functions and uphold professional standards in a fast-paced environment.
