Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, Full-Time

About the role

Provides coordinated nursing care for patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery, promote health, and ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support.
• Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee nursing team activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure in the practice state.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS or ARC-ALS, PALS or ARC-PALS, and NRP or ARC-NALS.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in nursing and experience in acute care settings.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and supervisory skills.
