Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time/7p-7a - $10,000 sign on bonus

About the Role

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in Plainsboro, NJ. This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and operates on a 7:00 pm - 7:00 am shift.

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will treat patients with urgent medical problems, severe illnesses, and life-threatening injuries. You will establish therapeutic relationships, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate patient care across shifts and settings.

Emergency nurses perform a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

• Foley insertions
• Assistance with chest tube and central line insertions
• Cardiac arrest management
• Blood transfusions
• Medication administration
• Splinting orthopedic issues
• Laceration repair
• Preparation for the operating room
• STEMI (MI) care
• Therapeutic hypothermia
• Intravenous insertion

Requirements

• Active NJ Registered Nurse License (Required)
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or actively in pursuit
• Minimum of 15 months of recent nursing experience (Required)

• ED technicians support care in the Emergency Department
• Locked Behavioral Health unit within the ED

Pay

Salary Range: $49.96 - $68.99 per hour. Successful candidates receive a specific rate based on experience and education.
