Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Evening

Role: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, working evening shifts. Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care following state laws and hospital policies. Assess patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a team to meet unit goals. Duties may vary by shift and unit. Qualifications: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing; if only an Associate's Degree is held, must obtain a Bachelor's within five years. At least 1+ years of emergency department experience. Must hold a current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and acquire ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications within three months of employment. Skills: Critical thinking, assessment, delegation, teamwork, and compliance with nursing standards and protocols. Key Duties: Deliver quality patient care, monitor patient condition, recognize and respond to changes, and document accurately. Support unit goals through collaboration and effective care delivery.
