Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Evening

Role Overview: A Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides professional nursing care, assessing patient conditions, recognizing changes, planning and evaluating care, and documenting observations in accordance with state laws and hospital policies. They delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a healthcare team. Location & Schedule: Based in Plainfield, IL, working full-time (36 hours/week) during evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 3:30 am, including every third weekend and rotating holidays. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (or completion within five years if holding an associate degree), current Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, and ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications within specified timeframes. Key Duties: Deliver nursing care, employ critical thinking, monitor patient progress, recognize changes, and ensure accurate documentation. Delegates tasks and functions as a team member to meet unit goals.
