About the Role
The Emergency Department at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is a community-based teaching ED located in downtown Wyandotte. The department sees over 45,000 patients annually and features 42 rooms, including a 5-bed Mental Health Secured Unit and 3 Trauma Bays. HFWH is a Primary Stroke Center with a 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab, EMS Direct to Cardiac Cath Lab, and a Level III Trauma Center. The team is dedicated to serving the community through growth, continual process improvement, and team-based emergency care.
Staff includes Physicians, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, ED Technicians/Paramedics, Unit Secretaries, and Social Workers. The department offers a comprehensive, individually-tailored orientation program based on experience, skill level, and personal needs, along with multiple shift options and patterned scheduling.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
