Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Role Overview

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a modern, 24/7 emergency department. The RN will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to a diverse patient population, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient healthcare needs.
• Deliver direct and indirect nursing care under supervision.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and support departmental goals.
• Ensure care aligns with practice standards and clinical guidelines.
• Willingness to float to comparable units as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Completion of nursing orientation program.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP preferred.
• TNCC certification required within one year.
• IV therapy competency within one year.
• Participation in Skills Fair and ongoing competency development.
• Professional certifications or membership in nursing organizations encouraged.
