About the Role
To assess, plan, and implement nursing care to meet patients’ needs by following the appropriate policies and procedures of the assigned department.
Requirements
- Completion of a Diploma Nursing Program or an Associate Degree in Nursing (AA) or higher.
- Unexpired state licensure from the Maryland Board of Nursing or a compact state board of nursing.
- Registered Nurse Certification in specialty (preferred).
- 1–2 years of related experience.
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications as required by the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 or department requirements.
- Stroke Training required within 30 days of hire.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).

- Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent projects, meet deadlines, and follow through with deliverables.
