About the role
The EP Lab is a specialized, fast-paced procedural environment focused on diagnosing and treating cardiac rhythm disorders. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team while caring for patients undergoing advanced electrophysiology procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients
- Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and patient safety needs
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management
- Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications in accordance with UHS policies
- Support effective resource use, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services
- Adhere to all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies
- Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council activities, and improvement initiatives
- Contribute to peer review processes and integrate evidence-based practice and nursing research
- Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees, students, and clinical observers
- Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and mandatory training
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, effective patient care
Requirements
- Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
Qualifications
- Prior critical care or procedural experience is preferred
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills

Benefits
- Compensation range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience
- Up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria
