Registered Nurse- Discharge Nurse

Position Purpose

Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually!

What you will do

• Works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care.
• Facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.

Continuing Employment Requirements

• Knowledge and BLS certification must be maintained.
• Required CEU’s for relicensure.
• Must be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medical staff.
