Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Department: Dialysis
Shift: Full Time; 8am-6:30pm; call required
Facility: Saint Joseph Medical Center
Location: Joliet, IL
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit
- Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients
- Communicate with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (certificate upon hire and maintain current)
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing or both is highly encouraged
- Two Years Experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis nursing, preferred

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.70 to $54.11. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
