Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Role Overview

The Acute Registered Nurse provides specialized dialysis care in a hospital setting, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and dialysis treatments, including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and TPE.
• Perform pre- and post-treatment assessments, water quality verification, and equipment safety checks.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, communicate with physicians, and ensure compliance with legal and hospital policies.
• Supervise and assist staff, participate in inventory management, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain infection control, emergency readiness, and technical troubleshooting of dialysis systems.
• Foster collaborative relationships with medical teams and promote excellent patient service.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in applicable state or compact, maintained in good standing.
• Preferably 12+ months of nursing experience, including dialysis care.
• CPR certification and ability to pass color screening.
• Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, and familiarity with clinical applications.
• Ability to adhere to practice standards and meet background clearance requirements.
