Registered Nurse CVOR

Responsibilities

• Transitioning seamlessly between scrub and circulating roles to ensure precision and safety during complex cardiovascular surgeries.
• Monitoring patient safety, communicating in real-time, and managing comprehensive nursing care during vulnerable moments.
• Preparing specialized cardiovascular instrumentation and advanced technology to optimize surgical success.
• Collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers to manage line access, intubation, and maintain physiological stability.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent.
• Professional education from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
• PREFERRED: Experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR).

Skills and Qualities

• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Adaptability to work occasional nights, weekends, or holidays, with call responsibilities.
