Registered Nurse - Critical Care Stepdown (Days)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using evidence-based practices.
• Perform accurate hand-offs and bedside shift reports to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, administer medications, monitor complex cardiac, respiratory, and post-ICU conditions, and support patient recovery.
• Participate in huddles, shared governance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, BSN preferred).
• Current Missouri RN license or compact license.
• Required BLS certification; ACLS, NIHSS, PCCN, or other Stepdown certifications are preferred.
