They provide support during periods of high census, staffing fluctuations, and increased patient acuity while helping ensure safe, exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Provide highly skilled nursing care in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Progressive Care units
- Support the hospital during periods of high census, staffing fluctuations, and increased patient acuity
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking in rapidly changing environments
- Adapt quickly to new teams, workflows, and high-stakes situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, exceptional patient care
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or a compact state
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years of critical care experience (preferred)
