Registered Nurse - Correctional - $1,600 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a correctional facility in Greenville, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing contract for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a jail setting. The role offers an opportunity to provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients while collaborating with correctional officers and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients in a correctional facility
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with correctional officers and healthcare team to ensure safety and compliance
• Conduct assessments and identify urgent health concerns requiring immediate attention
• Maintain detailed and confidential medical records in accordance with facility protocols

Requirements

• Minimum one year of RN experience, preferably in corrections
• Open to both local and travel candidates

Pay

$1,535.39 - $1,612.16 per week (based on 8-hour shifts and 32 hours per week).

Schedule

• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, four days a week
• 13-week contract starting September 8, 2026
