Registered Nurse - Correctional - $1,546 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a correctional facility in Capron, Virginia.

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections position on a Government contract. This is a day-shift role in a prison setting.

Schedule

• 12-hour days, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: 09/08/2026

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to inmates in a correctional facility
• Assess patient condition and develop appropriate care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare team members

Requirements

• Minimum three years of RN experience
• Corrections experience is preferred
• Local or travel candidates accepted
