Registered Nurse - Correctional - $1,546 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a correctional facility in Bland, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a Government contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in corrections, with a focus on the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to correctional facility inmates.
• Assess health conditions and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and medical records accurately.
• Collaborate with medical and correctional staff to ensure inmate well-being.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• Corrections experience is preferred.
• Local or travel candidates accepted.

Schedule

• 13-week contract.
• 36 hours per week.
• Shift options: 3 x 12-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 10:30 PM) or 4 x 10-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM).
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Pay

Pay range: $1,636.31 – $1,718.13 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
