Registered Nurse Coordinator - Radiation Oncology

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage care for radiation oncology patients throughout treatment.
  • Perform patient assessments, patient education, symptom management, and triage.
  • Cookordinate care with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, radiation therapists, social workers, dietitians, navigators, medical/surgical/GYN Oncology and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with providers and support staff to facilitate timely referrals, follow-up care, and ongoing treatment planning.
  • Function independently as the primary nursing resource at the Broomall site.
  • Support quality, safety, and regulatory standards within the Radiation Oncology practice.
  • Provide cross-coverage at the Concord Health Center as operational needs require.

Requirements

  • BSN required
  • Three or more years of combined clinical experience; oncology nursing experience preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Special Requirements

  • Multi-State RN License required
  • BLS certification required
  • Oncology certification preferred, or completion of oncology-specific contact hours as required by Commission on Cancer standards

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

Schedule

Full-time, 80 hours biweekly
Day shift, no rotation
Flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
No holidays
Weekends-not typical but per department guidelines

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Three or more years of combined clinical experience; oncology nursing experience preferred

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Special Requirements

Multistate RN license required

BLS certification required

Oncology certification preferred, or completion of oncology-specific contact hours as required by Commission on Cancer standards
