Nurse Coordinator - Radiation Oncology
About the role
The role coordinates the health care of select patient populations and designated service across the continuum of care. Responsibilities include facilitating patient care, coordinating patient education, preparing patients and families for procedures/tests, monitoring care and data to optimize patient outcomes, and acting as a resource to the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assesses and evaluates patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
- Coordinates the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical practice.
- Maintains and monitors care and data to optimize patient outcomes.
- Facilitates the education of patients and families.
- Acts as a resource to the healthcare team.
- Sets and supports the overall goals of the business.
Requirements
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Nursing Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience: No Experience
- Licenses & Certifications: RN Preferred
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Previous Oncology experience preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in using electronic health records systems.

Pay
Details on pay will be provided upon hire.
Schedule
4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.
