Registered Nurse Coordinator -Orthopedics | Kelsey Seybold Clinic: Memorial Villages

Primary Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.
  • As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
  • Valid and current Texas RN license
  • Currrent BCLS through American Heart Association
  • Experience leading a team
  • 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department
  • Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned.
  • Windows-based computer skills
  • ACLS
  • 2+ years of ambulatory care. Prior supervisory experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
