Registered Nurse - Convenient Care Plus

Role Overview: Provides urgent care in a fast-paced, high-acuity outpatient environment under physician oversight, serving patients aged >1 year to geriatrics with diverse chief complaints. Utilizes critical thinking and clinical judgment to prioritize tasks, assess patient needs, and deliver comprehensive nursing care. Collaborates with providers to triage, assess, plan, and coordinate follow-up care.Performs patient assessments, obtains medical histories, vital signs, and prepares patients for examinations.Delivers direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.Assists providers during procedures and manages IV insertions, monitoring, and discontinutions.Collects laboratory specimens, prepares paperwork, and communicates test results efficiently.Provides patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensures understanding of medical instructions.Participates actively in team efforts, contributing to department goals and metrics.Maintains documentation accuracy and adheres to policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of two years RN experience; graduate from Specialty Training Program. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
