About the Role
The Clinical Educator II enhances clinical excellence by designing, delivering, and evaluating education and competency development programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct needs assessments for clinical education programs.
- Develop and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training using modern teaching methods such as simulation and eLearning.
- Coordinate competency validations and promote evidence-based practices.
- Support interprofessional education initiatives.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for clinical staff.
- Maintain documentation for compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies.
- Active RN licensure and BLS certification.
- ANCC Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) preferred.
Schedule
Full-time, primarily five days per week.
