Registered Nurse-Clinical Educator-ICU/CVICU-Days

Essential Job Duties

• Assess patient population to determine patient care needs that require Clinical specialist Nursing interventions through rounds and communication with health team members.
• Collaborates with nursing staff and other health care professionals on the development and review of standards.
• Provides leadership for direct patient care programs and/or initiatives in area of specialization collaborating with Nurse Directors.
• Acts as a clinical resource for personnel using evidence based standards and professional guidelines.
• Affirms and evaluates education programs based on assessment of the learning needs of staff.
• Facilitates the education experience for nursing students, supports the implementation and evaluation of staff education and orientation programs and assists in monitoring the care delivered.

Required Education And Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• 3-5 years related experience
