RN - Registered Nurse - ICU - Days

About the role

Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the ICU at South Florida Baptist Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility completed in 2024.

Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care.
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments, identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
• Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients.
• Captures and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
• Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
• Identifies and addresses patient and family concerns.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License.
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing.
• 1-year RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting.
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association.

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, every other weekend.
