Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator - Cath Lab

About the role

The RN-Clinical Educator will function in an expanded clinical role within cardiac cath services and collaborate with leadership to enhance the overall education experience for staff, new hires, apprentices, and external entities using FHS services as a clinical rotation site.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the clinical education experience for staff, new hires, apprentices, and external entities.
• Assist department leaders in assessing ongoing educational needs.
• Improve and maintain a quality preceptorship and mentoring program.
• Promote overall coordination, cohesiveness, and quality of cardiac cath education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state.
• If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in clinical nursing.
