This is a 1099 independent contractor position, Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (every other Saturday may be required).
About the role
A newly established adult medical day care center in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a compassionate and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing operations, supervise clinical staff, and help develop clinical policies and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing operations, participant assessments, and care plans.
- Supervise medication management and Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs).
- Maintain clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate care with physicians, families, and healthcare providers.
- Oversee infection prevention, emergency preparedness, and participant safety.
- Support staff training, quality improvement, and clinical program development.
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license or a valid multistate license recognized in Maryland.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- New graduate RNs with strong leadership potential are welcome to apply.
